Hatha yoga classes are
equally suitable for complete beginners and intermediate students; they improve flexibility, help unwind and release physical and mental tension, calm and focus the mind, and bring a general sense of physical and mental well-being. Hatha classes commence with a period of letting go and tuning in to the body mind and breath, then warming up and loosening of the body in preparation for the physical postures (asanas) which follow.

Sport Specific Yoga classes are designed with sports people in mind, but the techniques can be
practiced by and bring benefits to anybody, including complete beginners to yoga. By using and applying sport specific yoga techniques athletes, sports enthusiasts, and those keen on fitness can
improve their performance, prevent and heal injuries and keep their mental focus.
Typically a Sport Specific class incorporates general mobilisation of the joints, core awareness, balancing and dynamic techniques, followed up with performance breathing and restorative techniques – all of which are specially tailored to a particular sport/activity
Cost - half termly courses at £8 per session paid in advance, or £10 for a single session/drop in.
